I’m rating it five stars because I’ve played this game over and over again through the years on multiple platforms and devices. I still love to come back and replay it, obviously. The reason I redownloaded it this time, though, was to complete my achievements in Game Center, but none of them are registering that I’ve gotten them. I would hate to leave a poor review for something that may or may not be something the developer could fix, but just can’t seem to find a solution to the problem.

This game is designed to be completed relatively quickly. I spent maybe 3 hours total on the 23 puzzles and I have spent at least double that on the city boom mini game alone. It is entirely luck if the button is responsive enough to beat it and I am done trying. Every other puzzle was clever and fun but city boom is not clever or fun. It is broken. Even if it did work it would not belong in this game. Devs please fix it or just remove it, it has ruined this game for me and many others.

The game fantastic overall but the mini game “city boom” is near impossible and it seems like it would should be easy for the dev to fix. Playing this game on PC is so much easier. Some ideas for city boom: - make the red button’s response area larger when city boom is active - slow the plane down slightly - allow zoom during city boom I beat city boom on my first try with a mouse. It shouldn’t be this hard on a touch screen and seems like it would be low effort to fix. Other than that, this is a very clever puzzle game.

I've tried like 100+ times and i still cant do it

When I get overly angry or upset I tend to push my arm into my teeth, or “bite” myself, and after what felt like 500 failed attempts at the city boom mini game, I was left with a red arm and sore head. The button isn’t big enough or responsive enough, when trying to click the button you can spam, making the game almost impossible to beat on iOS during the end. This means that you can’t even finish all the endings, because you need the 24 to get the last one, and without city boom you can solve another one, but other then that mini game, the game is great and the puzzles are really tricky.

It’s been years and the button still barely works. It’s genuinely a great game but it's better to just play it on desktop.

This is not optimized for the iPhone. There are a few puzzles that require quick button presses and it doesn’t respond to quick button presses. The phone also gets hot and drains the battery. I love the idea of the game and trying to figure out the puzzles, and I thought it would be a fun way to pass the time in waiting rooms or the DMV. But I can only do a handful of things before I need to stop.

Imagine trying to tie your shoes with chopsticks. Quite an infuriating task if you had to imagine, right? It seems like a useless endeavor, but it wouldn’t be if you had chopsticks for hands. Of course, why would anyone have chopsticks for hands? I don’t know. Why is the hit box for the red button half of the button’s actual size? I managed to beat the minigame, but it makes Bennett Foddy look like a Ghandi figure, trying to bring peace and prosperity instead of anger and rage. Still don’t get how infuriating it is? Imagine trying to tie your shoes with chopsticks.

I like PDTA but the game has ending that are very hard like the laser ending to ticket robot comes out at MIDNIGHT but in the 3d version you can just break to clock and set the time to midnight and get the ticket and also city boom is the hardest ending for me because the screen is to small to see and the plane is very fast and also the bombs have a delay before they drop and you can’t zoom by the screen to see and another ending that’s hard for me is the 666 and 276 because when you touch the grey button the numbers go up very fast so you have to time it perfect to stop and get the ending.

I can’t get the Death Star ending because it doesn’t show the ending it just erases the numbers

So I pretty much got all the endings but can you please fix the 666 ending counter because it seems IMPOSSIBLE so could you make it like on pc like one click at a time instead of timing the numbers. Much appreciated!

i love this game and all its puzzles but i’m stuck on the city bomb because half the time when i press the button it won’t work so i waste a ton of bombs. i’ve gotten close before but i just can’t seem to beat it.any comments on how to beat it would be a great help.

Why do i have to stay up till midnight just to get one of the endings i thought it would work at noon too but nothing happened. Please make noon another option. :(

I’ve gotten so frustrated at this before after I’ve beaten city boom it was the most amazing feeling in my entire life because it’s so hard it’s completely frustrating for me with someone with anger issues please fix it because it’s actually really difficult other than that it’s a good game but that’s the only thing I would suggest to fix and I just want more frequent updates because I’ve seen the last update was two years ago

It’s good but why can’t I open the D4 box? And why press a stupid tiny button 276 times in 1 MINUTE!?!?Or get the flood ending or any others same for 3D would rate 5 star for both.I’m speaking for both this and the 3d

Literally it’s impossible to beat city boom the button doesn’t even press down when I press it and I end flying into the buildings but other that I love the game

The number thingy is just going up without touching it and i can’t stop it at 273 or 666 so can you fix that

the button isn’t that very active so for every 10 presses, the button is pressed 4 times

This game is amazing don’t get me wrong, but when i got to a certain point in the game, it autoclicks super fast and i need extremely precise clicks to get to a certain number, and when i stop it it just keeps going for like a whole second then stops. Please fix this issue, it’s impossible to get this ending.

How about adding a siren head ending so it can be

This game is fun but the buttons hit box is completely broken which makes it impossible to complete the bomber game

If you are looking to 100% the game then good luck because the bomber puzzle is practically impossible I just wanna punch the dev in the face but other than that it’s pretty fun and challenging

City boom is too hard

I want to complete the game but i can’t because city boom is broken. Please fix this.

Not worth it. Every time I start it, it immediately freezes up my entire phone(iPhone X), and I have to restart it. Haven’t even been able to play it once.

I play on an iPhone 6 but when I play city boom it doesn’t register and you can’t zoom in. So if you want 5 stars make the button bigger.

While playing the bomber mini game the button is kind of small and you can’t zoom so it is hard to hit and it lags so much sometimes I press the button but it doesn’t respond not only in the mini game please just make the button bigger or allow zoom in the bomber mini game

You never gonna beat the bomb your city if you are playing on iPhone

The game is fun. A bit unresponsive but, the zoom function really helps! Most of the endings are pretty neat but, some are just retarded like, the baby coming out of the button, CITY BOOM >:(, and the ending where you have to get the number to say 666. It’s so hard to stop the button on that ending.

As to say this game is amazing the only part that is horrible and will probably never be fixed is the button in city boom five dollars for a game with a bad system in city boom is bad fix it all the others on iPhone 5 agree.

The touch screen on this game is crap

The counter auto goes instead of incrementing by 1 on each grey button click. So I can’t unlock at least 2 endings.

I can't get past the stupid plane mini game and it's making me frustrated and the arrow thing is sorta hard but everything else is good hope u make them better!

I am amazed how good this game is for the iPad and the game play is awesome if you like old pixel games you will love this app

This game is freaking impossible and the city bomb level makes me want to shoot myself everytime I lose and you should not have to destroy the foundation that it is on

This game is full of awesome puzzles as the game uses around 20 different ending! But, the game doesn’t use the best of them from 3D! Must add the devil endings please! I know the Illuminati is there, but please add the ghost face and the girl! The game is otherwise awesome! I recommend it before you buy 3D!

I’ve gotten all the endings but 1 (and the final one but you need to have beat all the other endings), that one being the city bomb. The most recent update “makes it slightly easier” but I still notice no difference. Please just fix the button by making it bigger. From my small programming knowledge it should be easy to do.

An almost perfect puzzle game, City Bomber is still extremely unresponsive for the button presses. If you can’t increase sensitivity for the button then might I suggest that you let the plane make at least two passes on the same altitude before it drops? I’ve already 100% cleared on the PC and would love the chance for mobile as well.

Overall this is a great port of the computer version but I am having a lot of difficulty with the game city bomber. It does not appear to drop the bombs as quickly as it will on PC. It is very difficult to hit the buildings without failure and I have yet to successfully complete it.

I have ALL BUT TWO of the endings completed, except City Boom and the coffee ending. However, the button in city boom has an extremely small hit box, making me tap five times to drop one bomb. Please fix this and make the hitbox bigger. Also, please increase the chance of the Stanley parable ending appearing more often. Thanks.
